March 31, 2005 - Planners Michael Rosen and Gina Mackay have prepared a draft of the terms of reference for the Neighbourhood Concept Plan for the Cape Roger Curtis lands. This draft will be presented by Michael and Gina to Council at the Committee of the Whole (COW) meeting on Monday, November 15 (7:00 pm). April 22, 2005 - The Bowen Island Music Association has joined up with the Cape Roger Curtis Trust Society to present a special Earth Day (April 22) concert featuring legendary guitar virtuoso Amos Garrett.
Amos will be accompanied by Doug Cox on dobro and Greg Carroll on bass. A legend? If you haven’t heard of Amos Garrett, you may have an inkling of some of his credits in his 60+ years of rocking the folk and rock & roll worlds: Woodstock, Maria Muldaur, Emmylou Harris, Stevie Wonder, Jesse Winchester, Bonnie Raitt, Anne Murray, Ian & Sylvia Tyson.
