Fundraising

The Cape Roger Curtis Trust Society is a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization. Donations can make a big difference to activities such as communication, advertising, printing and special events. Money for these activities is raised through memberships (see How You Can Help page) and donations. Your participation and support could make the difference between a fringe of trees around a housing development and a thriving wild coastline.

Fundraising for Land Acquisition

While the Cape Roger Curtis Trust Society is not currently engaged in a major fund raising program to acquire land, we expect we may be in the very near future. We hope that negotiations with the developer and the community will yield a large contiguous wilderness area that is conserved for park and ecological reserve. However, if the best conservation outcome requires a show of financial support from the community, as is likely, we will again become actively involved in a major fund raising campaign for land acquisition purposes.

We have very attractive greeting cards for sale. There is a choice of 6 different photos on the front, no writing in the middle – so that you can use them for any purpose – and a short message on the back describing the Cape Roger Curtis situation. Contact us for more information.
